Every year, the New York Times compiles a list of 52 worthwhile travel destinations for the new year (one per week — oh, if only we had the money!). While some places are exotic and far flung, others are just a short trip away. Some are sprawling metropolises, and others are in the middle of nowhere.
(Only one Spanish city is on the list, by the way, and we promise that it’s not one you were expecting!)
So which places would you like to visit? Which have you already visited? And if you can’t afford to actually visit, at least you can look at the beautiful photos!
